Conrado Krainer is a Brazilian photographer, visual artist, and atelierista based in São Paulo. With a background in Audiovisual and Art Education, his practice moves through the expanded field of photography, combining analog and digital processes, archival research, mixed media, artificial intelligence and experimental approaches to image-making.

His work investigates the relationships between memory, nature, time and history, with particular attention to the ways images, archives and systems of classification participate in constructing knowledge and shaping what is preserved or forgotten. Recent projects extend these questions into botanical and historical archives, exploring relationships between territory, colonial forms of representation and material processes involving plants and natural pigments.

Krainer's work has been exhibited in Brazil and internationally, including exhibitions in Rome, Barcelona, Budapest, Portugal and the United States, and has received recognition in national and international photography awards. His projects have also appeared in photography and visual arts publications.

Alongside his artistic practice, Krainer develops research in Arts and Education around time, experience, materiality and processes of inquiry within the atelier.
